Common telephone interview questions

How to prepare for a telephone interview

A lot of companies use telephone interviews to save money and interview a large number people. It would be impossible to interview 100 people face to face. But this figure doesn't sound so impossible when you have 5 people conducting telephone interviews over the phone. The interview will last between 5 – 25 minutes depending on how many questions the company has to ask you and how clearly you answer them. All the interviewer is trying to do is get an idea about you and if you match what they are looking for. So by knowing the common telephone interview questions in advance you are giving your self the heads up. You can now prepare for the interview. Normally you will be told in advance when your interview date is and at what time. For the interview make sure you are in quite room and have revised your answers or have them in front of you. If your taking his call on your mobile, then make sure it is fully charged.
