Ten Most Common Interview questions?

Congratulation, you have passed the first stage of the job process. If you are looking at this, then you have either got an interview lined up or think your about to getting one soon. Interview are not has hard to get as people think. You just need to be ready for the interview questions. Think of it like an exam. An exam where you know what the questions will be. Just keep practising your answers and example and you will be fine. Make sure you revise your answers and get some one to give you a practice run before you attend. So here are the ten most common interview questions.

Common Interview Questions

Tell me about yourself – This is trickiest interview questions. Dont be fooled by what has been asked. So dont just talk about anything. Instead, talk about you go to this position. What you have done before this. Talk about your previous jobs duties your achievement in eduction.

I Graduate in 2000 with upper class in Business management. Started working for West Way in October 2000 on their graduate scheme. West way is the second biggest insurance company in the UK. Their graduate scheme was broke down into three years with me covering department and being trained in customer service, case handling, finance and etc. I stay with Work Way for five years and now looking to up my position by applying for this insurance brokers job.


What do you know about the company? - Make sure you have done your home. If you don’t show you are keen then you wont get the job. Talk about the history of the company. How the company was formed? Talk about how impressed you are and how they have become leaders in the Markets. Talk about events in the news you may have read about them. Talk about there competitors

What are your strengths – For this interview question make sure you tell them about strengths that will benefit you in this job. It no point informing that you great customer service skills, if you are working as administrator. Always have three strengths in hand regarding the position. If it was for administrator job then you should talk about organisation, Letter writing, computer skills and etc.

What are your weakness – This is tricky one and don’t get caught out. If you do then you can say bye bye to the post. Don’t show them you have a weakness. Talk about a skill that may have been weakness but now you have worked hard at it and made it into a strength.

“One of biggest weakness a couple of years ago was my telephone skills. I would get nervous when talking to people I didn’t know. After 3 years of telephone skill training it has turned to my strength. I am very fluent and confident in my conversation with my clients and suppliers.

Tell me about a time where you have worked in stressful environment and how you over the come the problem? For this interview question, have one really good answer to a time where you have work in a stressful environment and show them how you over came it. The better the example the more the recruiter will recognise you skills of handling stress and workload.

Why should we offer you the job? To has this interview questions, make sure you relate back to you previous job. Remember the job description and then tell how you already this duties in your previous role. Give them as many duties as possible.

Tell me about a time when you were confronted with an unpleasant customer and how dealt with it?. - This interview question is quite tricky. Inform them what happened and how you kept informing the customer until the problem was resolved.

Tell me about a time when you had to work with someone who was difficult? This interview question is to see how you work with difficult people. Talk about how there was a problem and you solved it by talking to your college. What would have been the consequence of not solving the problem and what a great job both of you did.

What has been your greatest achievement? This interview question is to see what your biggest gains are. No need to make anything up. Just be honest. Talk about how it was an issue and how its become a profitable solution. Talk about the length of the project and the out come. The number of people and resource need. Talk about who the project was presented to, was it the manager or director of the company?

Do you have any questions? Always have a few questions. Talk about the career prospect. What should you expect to happen if you get the job and etc.
